Church Services

Sundays
10:15 – Prayer

11:00 – Morning Worship Service

Midweek Meetings

We have a couple of home groups where we study the Bible and pray in the week. Get in touch for more information.

We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to find seating and settle in.

What To Expect

Our worship services are simple, reverent, and centred on the Word of God.

A typical service includes:

  • Congregational singing of old hymns and new songs
  • Scripture reading from the Old and New Testaments
  • Prayers of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication
  • The expository preaching of God’s Word
  • Offering
  • The Lord’s Supper
  • A fellowship meal

The focus of our gathering is not entertainment, but the faithful worship of God and the clear proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Children In The Service

We practice family-integrated worship, meaning children remain with their parents for the entire service.

We believe children learn how to worship by worshipping alongside their families and the wider church. While children may be present and sometimes restless, we welcome them gladly and view them as a blessing to the congregation.

Parents are encouraged to help their children engage quietly with the service as they are able. We also understand that young children may find it difficult to sit through an entire service, especially in the early years. To support parents, we provide a room at the rear, equipped with audio for those who need a quieter space for a time.

From our experience, the ages of one to three can be the most challenging. We encourage parents to persevere, trusting that this time is part of faithfully training children in worship. If you ever need help or encouragement, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of the elders or another family.

After The Service

Every week we have a fellowship meal after the service, and visitors are warmly welcome to stay, eat, ask questions, and get to know others in the congregation.

If you would like to speak with one of the elders, please let us know — we would be glad to talk with you.

Will I Be Expected To Participate?

During the service, the leaders and some appointed members lead the church in worship. Feel free to join in congregational singing and standing as you are able.

The Lord’s Supper is observed regularly and is open only to baptised believers (immersed) who are trusting in Christ and walking in fellowship with a gospel-preaching church. Visitors are welcome to observe.

What Should I Wear?

Dress formally or casually; wear your Sunday best.

What about head coverings?

Historically, Christian women from all traditions around the world have covered their heads (and men uncovered) while gathered for “praying or prophesying” (1 Corinthians 11). In the West, however, the practice declined during the 1960s.

Today, faithful Christians differ on whether this instruction is a binding practice for all cultures and times.

As a church, we do not require head coverings, nor do we forbid them. Some women in our congregation choose to wear a headscarf as a matter of personal conviction; others do not. We encourage each member to act according to a well-informed conscience, and we seek to maintain love and unity where believers differ on this matter.
